Our
conference poster
got a little bigger this year. Although we can't hang it in our
hallway anymore, Marielle and I had a great time illustrating the talks and then tacking them up after each speaker. Ahh, the luxury of a full sheet of paper... Since we only had the
prophet and apostle pics, all the general authority and auxiliary
speakers became "rest talks". Rest talks were great too because they allowed Marielle to take a
break from drawing and me to take a break from keeping my eyes open.
I'm thinking next year maybe we'll dedicate a wall for each session and take over the entire living room...
And in case you missed it, I stumbled on
this post when looking for a back link. It's sure to give you a good laugh.

I made one this year with you in mind! And in April I'll have to copy this idea as well :)
Like Katie, we are totally going to steal your idea when Phoebe can handle it.
Are you admitting to taking naps during "rest" talks? I'm astonished. I guess it won't hurt to mention that Steve and I get some of our best zzzzz's during Sunday afternoon session when there are about five back-to-back 70s giving talks (we call it the Parade of the Quorum of the Seventy--usually happens before Pres Monson's wrap-up commentary).
I also loved the link back to a previous poster. I think Marielle has definitely matured and gotten less violent over the years, too. :)
Love this idea! You are so creative. It will be fun to live so close to you and maybe some of your awesomeness will rub off on me :)
