Today I was folding laundry while watching a documentary called The Power of the Sun. (Riveting, I know. Ryan brought it home for us to watch since he is a grad school nerd, and I try to play the part.) Marielle was hanging out with me while I folded, half watching, half playing. Fifty minutes into the hour long show she sees a 3-D satellite representation yells, "This is about space not laundry!" I'm not sure what kind of things I could learn while watching a documentary about laundry while folding laundry, but I'm sure it would be pretty powerful.

You were folding laundry for 50 minutes??? I die after 5.
hahaha...kids say the funniest things.
So do you only watch things that correspond to what you are doing at the moment? I am glad Percy doesn't bring home movies about math- although there was one called Proof, but I don't recall it being a nerdy math movie. That Marielle is a quick one!!
Funny enough, Sarah, most of our movies tend to be about people sitting down to watch a movie...
