Mullen: Family of Five

This morning I mopped the kitchen floor.  (Hold your applause, please.) What makes this blog-worthy or at least made me laugh, is how my barricade of chairs set up to deter Rex quickly became an observation deck for all the kids. They watched intently as I mopped, and peppered me with questions from start to finish.  Although sometimes I get wary of the constant presence of my three little shadows, it's also nice to feel important. I mean, none of my college roommates ever put their books down to watch in awe as I performed my cleaning check duties. Have I mentioned lately that I love being a mom to these three kiddos?
