Aren't babies cute?  Especially this girl. As you can imagine she is filling our house with smiles and laughter. 

The Youtube Revolution, did I miss the wave?

My younger brother Ben tells me about Youtube all the time. He especially loves watching Asian pranks. You'll have to check those out for yourself, as I haven't followed his advice yet. I assumed youtube is what the "younger generation" does when they are bored. (Yes, I am admitting I am old). However due to two separate emails from my parents, I had re-think the whole "younger generation" thing. Both my mom and dad sent youtube videos to my email this week. Apparently it isn't just those crazy teenagers watching. So in order to keep myself up-to-date and tech-savy, here's some funny videos I found. See, I can ride this wave!


This was another post I found today in the drafts section.  Not even sure when I wrote this.  I'm happy to say that I did not miss the wave and continue to ride the youtube wave often. I suppose I didn't end up posting this because I couldn't find any funny videos at the time.  So to make up for my delay here is a good one that we've watched more times than we can count. Ryan can whip up our waffle batter before the video ends and when it ends we start breakfast together.  Enjoy!

The Land of Disney

Our annual passed to Disneyland expired on Friday. Being Sycamores*, we had to use them one last time. And since our last Disneyland surprise backfired when Marielle burst into tears because she thought we were driving to see Ben & Kimi in Utah, we gave our girls plenty of notice. Apparently too much notice:

• 7PM: Jenna cried when put her shoes in her suitcase. "On my feet. We go Disneyland."
• 1AM: Marielle woke up crying, "Is it time to leave? Did we miss it?"
• 7AM: We left Santa Barbara, 2 hours later than we'd planned. We set the alarm, but forgot to turn it on.

Despite, the tumultuous beginning, we had a fantastic day.

*Grandpa Sycamore, the progenitor of Sycamore genes, went twice the last week, once staying until 12:30am! And that was immediately after returning from a Disney cruise. There's no such thing as a Disney overdose for this guy.

Name That Baby!

Everybody loves to guess who Annette looks like.  And it turns out all our babies look a lot alike.  I like to think we have a really strong "brand". Try your luck naming these babies. (There are two of each of our girls.)

Cool Kids

Is it just me or does this picture make you want to sing, "I wear my sunglasses at night..."

 

All the cool kids are wearing disney jammies and shades to bed.  And all the cool moms are posting on instagram which might explain my lack of posting lately.  I'm "marykarlee" if you want to follow me there. Are you on instagram?  I'd love to follow you too!
