I love bread. I inhale carbs faster than most kids do Halloween candy. In fact, I don't think any meal is complete without a bread, a biscuit, a roll or at least a tortilla. So this morning, when I woke up to this:
I was sure I was in heaven. That is until MK said, "I made bread this morning and it turned out better than it ever has. So don't eat it."
I guess bread-watching is the new Mullen family sport. I feel like a 5 year-old with a marshmallow in front of me.

I'm with you on carbs. I LOVE 'em. My dad love homemade bread so much—and my mom hated making it so much—that my dad learned how to make it himself. If we ever had warm, fresh, homemade bread, it was thanks to Dad. And that was the extend of his cooking/baking abilities. If Mom was gone, we had pizza and a head of lettuce with ranch for dinner.
Ryan! If anyone is interested in my rebuttal, I did not instruct my husband not to eat ANY bread, just not to eat like the bread is going out of style. It takes like 3 hours of management to make that bread and I want it to last longer than three days...
That bread looks amazing. Care to share the recipe?
